Shooting Incident at Airbnb Party in Bath Township
Bath Township, OH – November 2, 2025 – The Bath Township Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred early Sunday morning at an Airbnb rental property in the 900 block of Top O Hill Drive, where multiple juveniles were shot after gathering for a party advertised on social media.
At approximately 12:00 AM on 11/2/25, officers responded to reports of shots fired at the residence. Preliminary investigation indicates that a large group of juveniles arrived at the home in response to a social media post promoting a party. An unknown suspect or suspects fired multiple rounds from a weapon(s) inside the home, striking multiple victims and then fled the scene.
Responding agencies included the Akron Police Department, Summit County Sheriff’s Office, Copley Police Department, Fairlawn Police Department, Richfield Village Police Department, Richfield Fire Department, Copley Fire Department, Fairlawn Fire Department, Bath Fire Department, Cuyahoga Falls Fire Department, Granger Township Fire Department, Sharon Center Fire Department, Akron Fire Department, Norton Fire Department and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI).
Upon arrival, emergency personnel provided immediate life-saving assistance to the victims, who were subsequently transported to area hospitals for treatment. The current conditions of the victims are not available at this time.
The crime scene is currently being processed by investigators from the Bath Township Police Department, with assistance from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI).
The Bath Township Police Department is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting and working to identify those responsible for the violence. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Bath Township Police Department Detective Bureau at 330-666-3736.
