Free Plug Friday is a community service from WAOH-TV dedicated to showcasing the best Akron area locally owned and operated restaurants, retail shops, entertainment venues and more. Hire a professional videographer or use your phone and send us a video that gives our viewers a quick look at all you have to offer.

Record a video at your business that shows your products and services and upload it through this form. Submitted videos that meet the requirements will air it on the WAOH-TV broadcast stream on Roku and Apple TV. Videos must be recorded HORIZONTALLY in HD 1920 x 1080 as an H264 Mp4 file. Narrate the video so our audience knows your name, location, weekend hours, and any specials or offers you have over the weekend. This service is offered at no charge for businesses that are locally owned and operated and are part of the Akron viewing area.
Viewer videos will air on Friday evening as they come in through the WAOH-TV broadcast streams on Facebook, YouTube, Roku and Apple TV. Each month WAOH-TV will award the best entry with a $1,000 television commercial production package from Jumpstart Video.
