Crissy Kolarik, Founder and CEO of Shusharoo came to join us in the WAOH-TV studios to talk about the app, how it started, and where she will see it going in terms of mental health and well-being for its users.
This AI-assisted app is designed for people who want to improve themselves.
However, they may not be ready for traditional therapy.
“It’s basically a companion in your pocket with your cell phone that is available whenever you need it,” she continued.
“It’s going to be the bridge between traditional therapy and self -help.”
As a mental health professional for almost 30 years, she came up with the idea for the app to meet people where they’re at.
Another challenge she says is affordability.
Shusharoo helps people find their way through the wellness assessment you will see on the home page.
It’s an eight-step evaluation, taking a look at the whole person.
One of the unique things about the app it doe not go by the “one size fits all” model of wellness.
Kolarik said that the features seen on the main page give the person a chance to see themselves in a different light.
It can help people discover their strengths, unlocking ways to improve their mental health and well-being.
The app is still in its development stage but is gaining some steam in a lot of different areas.
