Do you want to learn about the native plants in your area, including which are dangerous, or which are safe to eat? Look no further than Summit Metro Parks’ annual Native Plant Festival, where you can join park staff as well as local native plant nurseries to learn all about how to welcome the wildlife in your area, and browse a wide variety of plants available for purchase. Visitors can enjoy live music from folk artists Jen Maurer & Bill Lestock, and jazz quartet Hot Djang. Food and drinks will be available to purchase from various local coffee shops and bakeries. Visitors may even recieve a free packet of seeds while supplies last! The event begins at 10AM and lasts until 4PM on May 17th, and is located at 521 S. River Road in Munroe Falls, Ohio.
